Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We have fair-use thresholds that apply for using our meeting rooms, our on-site carparking spaces and our networked printing facilities above which charges can theoretically be applied. But these are only there as a last resort in managing fair shared use, and over the 15 we have been operating we have very rarely had the need to resort to applying these charges.

Yes of course, we would simply prepare a license agreement for you for an initial trial period (usually a month) which automatically terminates at the end.

Yes, as long as there’s just one person using the desk at any one time.

Over the years we have done a wide range with the objective of having fun (which also happens to be the best type of networking in our humble opinion). Most common are spontaneous drinks evenings, and we keep barbecue equipment for use on-site and in the nearby recreation ground. Along with various business presentations, over the years we’ve had whisky tasting evenings; introductions to real tennis, normal tennis & clay target shooting; rounders in the park; and we’ve built a strong Christmas party tradition from our inception.

Yes, we try and take the opportunity to physically introduce you as well as furnishing you with name plans for easy reference.

We have espresso machines, cafetieres and instant coffee in each of our 5 kitchen areas.

Nothing, apart from a small deposit we ask for the permit you need to display and for giving access to the booking system.  And you get the deposit back whenever we have your permit back in the future.

There are loads of road spaces directly in front of the centres as well as nearby. All are free, although some are time limited.

Quite a few – have a look at the proximity info in the contact section of the website.  And while the walking options are good, the cycling options are vast.

None at all. The only situation that could give rise to extra costs would be if some sort of damage has occurred, but in all the 15 years we have been operating this has never happened.

Some of our clients have started then and there when they viewed the spaces.  If the space you’re interested in is available and you’re ok with our terms, it’s down to you.

Yes, although only in our co-working spaces.  Your dog would need to pass a suitability assessment, and you would need to sign a pet guardian agreement.

Yes, but only occasionally for brief periods under their guardian’s direct responsibility, as our centres haven’t been designed for children.

Currently peanuts(!) but we’re happy to broaden this to suit general preferences.
